Cambridge Title Company now has a Yelp page for its Chicago office.

Previously, our Northbrook-based title insurance firm only had a page for the Northbrook office. However, with numerous home closings taking place at our Chicago location, it seemed about time to introduce a separate page.

Multi-Chamber Networking Breakfast

The Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry is hosting the Multi-Chamber Networking Breakfast on Thursday, February 23rd between 7:30 and 9:30 A.M. Cambridge Title Company Sales and Marketing Director, Ron Jennings, will be in attendance.

At the networking event, each participant will have an opportunity to discuss their business. Following a period of informal networking during breakfast, attendees will be divided into small
groups at assigned tables. There, each participant will provide a two-minute presentation on their business. Afterwards, participants will be able to speak to two more groups of participants. With table assignments beginning promptly at 7:45 A.M., anyone not checked-in by then will be at risk of losing their spot.

Cambridge Title Company Begins E-Recording

With the end of November, (and nearly 2016 in its entirety) Cambridge Title Company has partnered with the Cook County Recorder of Deeds and Corporation Service Company to commence with e-recording.

According to the Cook County Recorder of Deeds, "Electronic recording – known simply as “e-recording” – is the process of submitting and processing documents to be recorded through the Internet, rather than by physically bringing or mailing paper copies to the Recorder of Deeds office. With a robust e-recording system in place, heavy-volume users like title companies can prepare and submit documents from their office, and Recorder’s Office staff verifies and processes the transaction on the receiving end – all without the need for paper and hand-entry by Recorder’s Office staff."

But how does e-recording work? Cambridge Title Company works through Corporation Service Company (CSC), which "offers the leading electronic document recording solution". CSC has two primary solutions. The ePrepare product is for submitters while eRecord is for county recorders.
